The unexpected tour is The Who’s first in six years. All the more reasons to get a ticket! The 60s legends have confirmed they will headline a series of indoors and outdoors concerts this summer. They’ll kick off in Hull on July 6 are will follow up with a double date in Edinburgh, headlining Edinburgh Castle two nights in a row on July 8 and 9.
Next, they’ve got dates in London (June 12), Derby (for the first time since 1966) and Bristol (14 & 16), before going to Durham for a show at Seat Unique Riverside on July 19. Finally, they’ll headline St Helens Totally Wicked Stadium on July 21 and will wrap up in Brighton on July 23.

The Who: first tour in six years, get ready for their 2023 performance
In a lengthy statement, singer Roger Daltrey talked about this reconnection with the touring game: “Having not toured the UK for six years, it’s great that at this time of our careers we have the chance to go to places that are not on the usual touring map – Edinburgh Castle and Derby, as well as the other cities across the country that we haven’t been to for decades, will make this very special for me. This opportunity will give our UK Who fans the chance to hear our current show, which, with the addition of an orchestra, takes our music to new heights.”
The band has scheduled to showcase some of their classic albums like Tommy and Quadrophenia, but they’ll also be playing songs from their most recent album, 2019’s WHO, which was their first studio album for 13 years.
